DIMOTRANS Group partners with the RAID AMAZONES

DIMOTRANS GROUP, LOGISTICS PARTNER OF THE 20TH RAID AMAZONES RACE

For the 2022 edition of the Raid Amazones adventure race, DIMOTRANS Group has been chosen by organizer ZBO to ship the race equipment to Sri Lanka, ahead of the event next March and April.

No fewer than six containers are already en route by sea to Colombo, and will then be shipped to the race’s starting location.

The Raid Amazones, set up in 2001 and run by French journalist Alexandre Debanne, formerly a TV entertainment show host, is an all-female adventure in which 300 contestants, in teams of two or three, compete in various disciplines (trail running, kayaking, mountain biking, archery) while fully immersed in nature.

This year, two events are planned – one to make up for the 2021 edition, when the race was cancelled due to the pandemic.

This year, going beyond its logistics partnership, DIMOTRANS Group will be in the thick of the action. From March 13-23, three employees from different group entities – Véronique Gandy (DIMOTRANS), Emmanuelle Grégoire (Qualitair) and Gwenola Oliveira (BSL) – are actually taking part.

We wish them a fabulous collective experience – and, although the “the most important thing is taking part”, we hope that they will win for DIMOTRANS Group!
